something i got out of this daily devotional thing
im sure lots of you would get something out of this
cause i did; even if you dont i hope in future that
when you go through some rough patches, that you would
not wallow in the past or overthink of the future
but remember this..

Jesus used the I AM phrase often. Can you remember some? I am the bread of life. I am the living water. I am the good shepherd. What is Jesus saying? “Whatever you need: I am! I am the God who is enough. In every situation you might find yourself in, I have what you need to get through it.”

When I was going through a very rough time in my life, someone gave me the following poem which gave me courage and strength:

I was regretting the past and fearing the future.
Suddenly God was speaking: “My name is “I Am.”
I waited. God continued:
“When you live in the past with its mistakes and regrets, it is hard.
I am not there. My Name is not ‘I was.”
When you live in the future, with its problems and fears, it is hard.
I am not there. My Name is not “I will be.”
When you live in the moment, it is not hard. I am here.
My name is “I Am.”

i am really cbf right now. yet somehow ive crawled out of that state and managed to read 17 pages of an article off the internet for english assessment. my eyes feel like theyve withered in their sockets. time to sleep.
